Job summary

Thermal Systems KWC is a Western Canada-based subcontractor specializing in building envelope, daylighting, roofing and insulation. We are seeking Assistant Project Managers to join our teams and contribute to innovative, complex projects we help build.

You will collaborate with the project team, schedule people, materials and equipment, communicate with clients and field staff, solve issues with project managers, and promote HSE culture while connecting office and field teams.

Qualifications

• Construction project management degree or related diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of control system software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a project team to ensure the vision of our projects is maintained.
• Support the project manager by scheduling people, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are done efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Effectively communicate with clients, field staff, and other departments regarding all project needs.
• Efficiently problem solve for changes and issues that arise during project execution with support from the project manager.
• Promote and encourage HSE culture and construction best practices.
• Be a connection between the office and field staff with frequent check-ins at the jobsite.
