Duties

TRU offers small class sizes, undergraduate research opportunities, and a centrally located campus with over 26,000 students, including Indigenous and international students. The School of Nursing offers MN, MN-NP, BScN, PN (Williams Lake only), and HCA programs.

The School of Nursing is seeking two (2) tenure-track faculty members starting July 1, 2024, or as mutually agreed. Candidates will teach theory and practice courses, develop research programs, and participate in university and community service.

Qualifications

• PhD or other doctorate; consideration for doctoral candidates completing their degree soon after appointment;
• Minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
• At least five (5) years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience;
• Evidence of scholarly research or scholarship;
• Commitment to continuous learning in nursing;
• Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
• Understanding of the Canadian healthcare system;
• Current BCCNM registration in good standing or eligibility for registration prior to appointment.

Pay Band: $73,665.93 - $163,084.94 (TRUFA Salary Schedule Range TS01 - TS28)
