The University of Toronto and its affiliated institutions represent an outstanding worldclass scientific environment with a highly interactive community of researchers and teachers. We will consider all outstanding applicants with a proven track record and demonstrated research excellence in clinically applied anatomy, medical imaging and/or translational medicine that will complement the strengths of the Division of Anatomy in cell biology and neuroscience.

In addition, a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching in anatomical sciences in a classroom setting is required. Experience with laboratory-based instruction is considered an asset.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in anatomy or related field, including but not limited to: cell biology, medical imaging, neuroscience, development, regenerative medicine, and at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue a vigorous internationally recognized research program.

Evidence of excellence in research will be demonstrated by a record of publications in top-ranked and field relevant academic journals or forthcoming publications meeting high international standards, the submitted research statement, presentations at conferences, awards and accolades, and strong endorsements by referees.

Candidates must provide evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students as demonstrated by teaching accomplishments, the teaching dossier (with required materials outlined below) submitted as part of the application, as well as strong letters of reference.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
