Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a field service associate to deliver and service portable toilets in Northwestern Ontario. You will clean, stock, and pump sewage from units, maintain trucks and equipment, and interact with customers to manage contracts and payments.

The role involves outdoor work for extended periods, driving large trucks and trailers, and performing grease trap and washroom maintenance. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and clean abstract.
• Willingness to work days and weekends.
• Familiarity with Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.
• Experience with physical labor and long hours.
• Experience driving large trucks and trailers.
• Ability to back up using mirrors only.
• Trustworthy and capable to work alone.
• Excellent client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Work Truck & Units.
• Dealing with Customers, Contracts and Collecting Payments.
• Working outdoors for extended periods of time
• Cleaning and maintenance of grease traps
• Maintenance of Portable washrooms and Portable washroom trailers
• Other duties as assigned

Job Duties

• Delivering Portable Toilets.
• Servicing Portable Toilets – Cleaning/Stocking units and Pumping out Sewage.
• Preparing units for Weekend Deliveries.
• Maintain Work Truck & Units.
• Dealing with Customers, Contracts and Collecting Payments.
• Working outdoors for extended periods of time
• Cleaning and maintenance of grease traps
• Maintenance of Portable washrooms and Portable washroom trailers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid license – Clean Driver’s Abstract Required.
• Flexibility to work days and weekend
• Must be Familiar with Thunder Bay and Surrounding Areas.
• Experienced with physical labour & long hours.
• Driving Experience with large trucks and pulling trailers.
• Must be able to back up using only mirrors.
• Trustworthy & capable to work alone.
• Friendly & Courteous with clients.
