Role Overview:

The Assistant Media Buyer will work within the Investment team to support the effective delivery of buy recommendations and negotiations in broadcast and potentially digital media for assigned clients.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Enter buys into proprietary systems (MediaOcean and Prisma) and maintain broadcast buys.
  • Manage and steward campaigns ongoingly.
  • Assist with client financials such as budget reconciliation and management; resolve discrepancies with billing coordinators.
  • Maintain communication with the Client Service Team regarding buy authorizations, tracking reports, buy changes, and creative specifications.
  • Post campaigns and monitor campaign delivery.
  • Generate campaign reports, including pre- and post-campaign documents and Masterfiles.
  • Utilize Mediacom proprietary tools and measurement software (Numeris).
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Learn quickly and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with team members.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and strong mathematical skills.
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Organize tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Show a driven desire to develop and excel in a media career.
  • Balance multiple assignments with a flexible approach.

Education and Experience:

  • 0-1 years of experience required.
  • An internship in an agency is an asset.
  • College or university education is preferred.
