Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment Corporation is seeking an Assistant Mechanic for our Brampton location. The role focuses on maintaining bowling lanes and equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and handling repairs to ensure optimal performance.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and strong math skills, plus good communication and teamwork. Part-time shifts include evenings and nights, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with emphasis on algebra, geometry and applied mathematics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven team player; eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role.
• Candidates with previous mechanical, electrical, or engineering experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters and building equipment to top performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to repairs promptly.
• Prioritize safety per Lucky Strike guidelines and OSHA.
• Follow preventative maintenance programs and daily center upkeep.
• Support leadership teams and report issues promptly.
• Identify common equipment issues and resolve them efficiently.

WHAT OUR ASSISTANT MECHANICS DO

Our Assistant Mechanics are essential to maintaining the top performance of our lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment. They skillfully conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to any necessary repairs.

AN ASSISTANT MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY:

• Always prioritize safety by following the guidelines set by Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.
• Take pride in maintaining the equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs and monitor and perform daily center maintenance as instructed
• Embrace the opportunity to complete the Lucky Strike Entertainment Assistant Mechanic training program within the prescribed time frame.
• Providing valuable assistance to the leadership teams and promptly reporting any issues and problems as needed.
• Proficient in accurately identifying and resolving the most common issues with equipment.
• Minor preventative maintenance
• Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center

WHAT IT TAKES

• High School Diploma with a strong emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)
• Excellent communication skills
