Job summary

METRO Windsor is seeking an Assistant Meat Department Head for the Windsor store. This permanent, full-time, unionized position starts at 18.10 CAD per hour, with the possibility of higher wages based on knowledge, skills and experience.

The role supports the Meat Manager and helps lead department activities to ensure quality service and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include receiving, pricing, stocking, rotating and merchandising products; keeping the department ready for

Qualifications

• Meat experience with product knowledge, rotation and merchandising.
• Capable of standing 4-8 hours; bending, twisting and reaching; lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Available to work days, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays per the C.B.A.

Depending on a candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, education and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether it is the starting wage or higher, will be within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.
