What to Expect:

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding the Starbucks portfolio, focusing on projects like Starbucks by Nespresso and Front-End Innovation. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop strategic recommendations, drive product launches, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, all while deepening your expertise in brand building within the Coffee Category.

A day in the life:

  • Manage packaging, pricing, promotional, merchandising and distribution strategies for the Starbucks by Nespresso range within the Starbucks at Home Portfolio.
  • Leverage brand, consumer and marketplace data to recommend marketing strategies and activities for the 18-month brand plan (aligned with the 3-year brand roadmap)
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of key innovation and renovation projects by collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure excellence, overseeing all launch-related initiatives and communications, while also supporting the long-term Front-End Innovation (FEI) pipeline and assessing new platforms for the Canadian market.
  • Manage Masterbrand and launch-specific communication planning and execution in collaboration with internal and external agencies and PR partners, while supporting creative/media briefing and plan development to ensure alignment with brand guardrails and effective tracking of KPIs.
  • Provide fact-based analytical information to support consumer and customer initiatives and to drive portfolio profitability and growth.
  • Conduct monthly brand and competitive performance reviews, analyzing category dynamics and business health using tools like Nielsen. Support team processes including budget management and priority status meetings.

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Business or Marketing, and equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience required. CPG experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to manage change and evolve in a fast-paced dynamic and matrix environment.
  • Proficient computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS applications.

Preferred Skills

  • Field sales experience and understanding of commercialization process within CPG with ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources and environment.
  • Self-motivated, curious, results-focused, strong analytical & communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, creative thinker, and innovative problem solver.
  • Passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge status quo.
