*Position Summary:*Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the liquor retail industry? We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to support our Liquor Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our well-established store in Slave Lake, Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the liquor retail business.*Responsibilities:** *Support the Liquor Store Manager:* Collaborate with the manager to oversee the store's daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.* *Customer Service Excellence:* Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.* *Team Leadership:* Assist in supervising and motivating the store team to meet and exceed sales goals and customer service standards.* *Inventory Management:* Help manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and ensuring accurate stock levels.* *Sales and Promotion:* Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies to boost sales and attract customers.* *Compliance:* Ensure the store complies with all relevant regulations and laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.* *Problem Solving:* Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively and professionally.*Qualifications:** *Experience:* Previous experience in a liquor retail environment is preferred.* *Leadership Skills:* Strong leadership and communication abilities to assist in managing the store effectively.* *Customer Focus:* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.* *Inventory Knowledge:* Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing processes.* *Adaptability: * Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.* *Tech-Savvy:* Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.* *Regulatory Knowledge:* Familiarity with provincial regulations and laws related to alcohol sales (an asset).* *Team Player:* A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPay: $17.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental care* Employee assistance program* Extended health care* Life insurance* On-site parking* Paid time off* Store discount* Vision careSchedule:* Day shift* Evening shift* Holidays* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
