Zusammenfassung

Mothercraft is seeking an Assistant Manager/Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team across our Toronto Centers for Early Development. This regular full-time role supports operations at multiple sites and involves shift rotation.

You will assist the Manager with administrative duties and act in their absence, while also serving as an RECE in the classroom, delivering developmentally appropriate activities and fostering a warm, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifikationen

• An Early Childhood Education Diploma or BA in Education is a key asset.
• 1–2 years of work experience with children and families; student placements count as experience.
• Registration with the College of ECE is required; Standard First Aid & CPR C is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and a flexible, collaborative approach to teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Manager with administrative duties and act in the Manager's absence.
• Provide care and supervision as an RECE in the room, delivering developmentally appropriate activities.
• Develop and implement weekly program plans to promote stimulation in all areas of development.
• Maintain open communication with families and staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.
