Job Description

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Manager, Broker Service, the core parts of your role will be to:

  • Manage direct reports and lead performance management activities to ensure successful achievement of business objectives
  • Communicate and execute service processes to support the organization’s strategic direction.
  • Support the efficient and effective operations of the Broker Service department
  • Lead the creation of high-performing teams by recruiting, selecting, and engaging employees by communicating job expectations and competencies necessary to be successful.
  • Communicate strategies and objectives to provide employees with the resources to perform their job efficiently and effectively
  • Manage contact center operational standards, customer service, policies, programs, and procedures
Qualifications

Let’s Talk About You:

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:

  • A RIBO license or willing to obtain.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Experience coaching and leading others with focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
  • Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, carrier portals and BMS.
