Job summary

DeSerres in Toronto is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Eglinton location to support the store manager with daily operations, customer service, merchandising, and financial control.

You will help hire and train new staff, manage scheduling, foster a positive team environment, and ensure smooth inventory and sales floor execution to hit profitability targets. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and flexibility for varied weekday, weekend, and evening hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience or equivalent.
• Strong customer focus.
• Leadership and sales skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability on varied weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
