Ardene is looking for an energetic Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales objectives and leading the team. You will inspire your staff to provide outstanding service consistent with Ardene's culture and image, and you will oversee all store operations in the manager's absence.

Responsibilities include implementing strategies to hit budgets, supervising daily tasks, coaching for excellence, and ensuring policies are followed. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in achieving sales objectives, improving employee performance and ensuring efficient store operations. The Assistant Manager must lead by example and inspire their team to generate sales, provide outstanding customer service, and project the company’s culture and image. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager oversees all store operations.

• Assisting in the implementation of strategies to achieve the store’s sales and profit budgets.
• Overseeing all store operations including opening and closing procedures, store cleanliness, re-stocking and merchandising, customer service, and supervision of the team.
• Providing excellent customer service and coaching the team accordingly.
• Complying with all head office requests regarding store operations.
• Processing purchases at the register.
• Adhering to all company policies.
• Supporting the Store Manager in ensuring company standards are followed in accordance with the employee manual.
• Performing all other related duties as directed by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

The expected wage range for this role is between $19.65 and $22.32 per hour.
