Job summary

JYSK Canada is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store management in fostering the company values and customer promises through coaching and high-quality instruction. You will help implement sales and merchandising plans and promote a highly engaged team culture.

We require 2 years of retail management and customer service experience, with flexibility for evenings and weekends, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.

The Role:

As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the store management team in instilling the company values and customer promises within your team and in the store through modeling, coaching, and providing high quality instruction.You will also assist with the implementation of a sales and merchandising plan and promote a highly engaged team culture.

Other duties include:

• Assisting with loss prevention processes in the store including participation in prevention strategies and investigations
• Assisting with store stock management, merchandising, and pricing to maximize sales of your categories
• Delivering and meeting sales budgets and goals in your Department

Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $43,000 to $48,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
