Summary:

Assist the Front Store Manager (FSM) in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the store, focusing on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor to achieve store objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Operations:
  • Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive traffic, and impact profitability.
  • Work with the Management Team to ensure Store Standards are consistently met, including in the backroom.
  • Assist in labor scheduling and leverage Workforce Management (WFM) to maximize productivity, in conjunction with the FSM.
  • Ensure staffing levels are adequate for effective store operation.
Human Resources:
  • Comply with Human Resources Standards.
  • Assist with hiring in collaboration with the FSM, supporting hiring across departments excluding Pharmacy.
  • Maintain wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
  • Drive Blue Culture, engagement, and motivate staff through core values.
Qualifications:
  • Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Inventory management planning and preparation.
  • Use judgment to control expenses.
  • Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong organization and planning abilities.
Experience:
  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Ability to drive the business by example and support corporate programs.
  • Effective collaboration with management teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
