Independent Grocers Alliance in Mercier, QC is looking for an assistant department manager to help run daily store operations. If you are curious about food, motivated, and ready to lead a team, this role could be the right fit.

You should have at least 2 years of retail or customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. We offer training courses and opportunities to grow within the store, with day and evening shifts and a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager.
• Provide team members with the feedback necessary for their professional development and the achievement of established objectives.
• Collaborate with the production and customer service clerks; - Ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service
• In collaboration with the manager, ensure the management of inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness.
