Job summary

Moxon Personnel Ltd. is seeking a driven Assistant Controller to join our client’s team in the Vancouver area.

You will supervise a small staff and be responsible for monthly and annual financial reporting, as well as the preparation of month-end management accounts and cash forecasts. You will assemble quarterly board reporting packages, liaise with senior management on monthly results, coordinate with auditors, and contribute to budgeting, forecasts and related schedules.

Qualifications

• CPA required with experience in corporate reporting.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating month-end activities.
• Experience preparing board packages and liaising with auditors.

Our client is a well established company that is in the construction/service area. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to become an integral part of their team and function as an Assistant Controller. You will supervise a small staff and be responsible for monthly and annual financial reporting and the preparation of month end management accounts. You will prepare cash forecasts and assemble quarterly board reporting packages. Responsibilities also include liaising with senior management with respect to monthly results and liaising with auditors. You will prepare budget and forecasts and well as the associated schedules and assist in the development of reports as required. It will be necessary that you continually monitor and streamline the month-end processes. Our client is expanding rapidly in the lower mainland so only candidates capable of growing with them will be considered.
