We are currently seeking an Assistant Controller at our Stratford Store, with dealership experience , to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose / Summary of Position :

The Assistant Controller is responsible to execute the day-to-day A / P and A / R activities for our growing group of dealerships. Are you an experienced dealership Assistant Controller?   • Have experience in the accounting field
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for all inter company expenses / payments
  • Processing day-to-day accounts payable transactions to ensure that corporate finances are maintained in an effective and accurate manner
  • Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions
  • Processing of invoices according to standard operating procedures, ensuring payments are supported according to established payment policies
  • Process AP and AR
  • Assist in monthly financial reports
  • Processing expense reports
  • Other duties as assigned by the Group Controller

Qualifications :

  • CPA or working towards CPA
  • Automotive / Dealership Experience is required
  • Experience with AP / AR
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Strong attention to detail
