About the Role

Reporting to the Controller of Moment Travel Group (MTG), the Assistant Controller is responsible and accountable for the reliable and timely preparation of the brands’ financials. They actively participate in and produce the following:

• Full cycle month-end close and financial statement preparation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Profitability analysis on departed tours
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations (trust and operating accounts)
• Prepaid expenses and accruals
• Overview and approval of payables
• Assist with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Reconciliation with accounting inaccuracies or imbalances
• Cash flow and liquidity reporting
• Sales tax filings and declarations
• Assisting in preparation/compilation of documents for external auditors and regulators

Who are we looking for?

• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Quickbooks experience (Desktop preferably, Online is acceptable)
• Excel experience – advanced (SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUP or INDEX MATCH, SUMPRODUCT)
• OPC and/or travel regulatory knowledge a plus
• Project analysis experience
