As Assistant Controller in Pomerleau's accounting team, you will be responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements, validation of accounting entries, and financial analysis for one or more large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars.

What You Will Do

• Ensure monthly production of consolidated financial statements for the Pomerleau Wind Turbine Division.
• Reconcile all financial data required to consolidate results.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses, including the audit file, and follow up on general ledgers.
• Act as liaison with external auditors and internal teams for all matters relating to Pomerleau Inc. subsidiaries, in collaboration with the Divisional Controller and Financial Compliance.
• Carry out various financial analyses, including variance tracking and preparation of monthly highlights for Pomerleau Éolien and other group subsidiaries.
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of financial consolidation tools.
• Collaborate with the various group entities to ensure consistency of financial information from subsidiaries to the corporate level.
• Document, analyze, and optimize the accounting processes of existing subsidiaries.

This role could be for you if you have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, management, or administration.
• Accounting designation (CPA) (asset).
• 3-5 years' experience in accounting.
• Advanced level of English and French.
