Join to apply for the Assistant Controller role at Pomerleau.

As an Assistant Controller in Pomerleau's accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, validating accounting entries, and conducting financial analyses for one or more of Pomerleau's large-scale construction projects, ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars.

What You Will Do

• Ensure monthly production of consolidated financial statements for the Wind Turbine Division.
• Reconcile all financial data required to consolidate results.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses, including audit files and general ledger follow-up.
• Act as liaison with external auditors and internal teams regarding subsidiaries, in collaboration with the Divisional Controller and Financial Compliance.
• Carry out financial analyses, including variance tracking and monthly highlights for subsidiaries.
• Participate in implementing and optimizing financial consolidation tools.
• Collaborate with group entities to ensure consistency of financial information.
• Document, analyze, and optimize accounting processes of subsidiaries.

This role could be for you if you have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, management, or administration.
• Accounting designation (CPA) is an asset.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in English and French.
