V!VA Retirement Communities is seeking an energetic leader to join our Barrhaven community as Assistant Community Director. You will report to the Community Director and oversee Concierge, Housekeeping/Laundry teams, Move-in Coordinator, and support administrative and accounting functions to uphold Making Today Great!
You will drive high standards of service, health and safety programs, and foster teamwork.
You have a passion for raising the bar in the retirement industry. You will have experience in a similar setting with skills and knowledge in the areas of facilities management, housekeeping and health and safety management for seniors. You are experienced in managing Team Members and contributing to the overall success of both the Management Team and the Community. Reporting to the Community Director, the Assistant Community Director will join a dynamic team that is dedicated to V!VA's Team Members, Community Members, and Community's purpose of Making Today Great!, while fulfilling our Vision to create places where people live, love, and laugh.
This role requires an energetic, motivated leader who will inspire others to uphold the highest standards of performance and customer service.
The incumbent will be responsible for contributing to the Community's overall financial stability, industry and company policy compliance, and Community Member and Team Member satisfaction.
While the Assistant Community Director's leadership responsibilities extend to all Team Members, they will directly manage the Concierge and Housekeeping/Laundry Teams, the Move-in Coordinator and/or Concierge Lead. They will also oversee the administrative and accounting functions for the Community and, in the absence of the Community Director, serve as the Community Director's representative when required.
