VIVA Retirement Communities is looking for a passionate Lifestyle Manager in Toronto, Ontario. You will mentor Team Members, coordinate services for Community Members, and enhance their overall well-being through creative programming.
With expertise in recreation therapy, a focus on physical fitness, and excellent communication, you will lead team efforts to ensure high standards of performance and customer service. Flexibility in working hours is required, with an emphasis on innovative activities for seniors.
You have a passion to raise the bar in the retirement industry. You are energetic, motivated, and able to inspire others to provide the highest standards of performance and customer service. You will have experience in a similar setting with skills and knowledge in performance and customer service, developing seniors’ activities, leading physical fitness programs, and managing volunteers. If creativity, innovation, service, having fun and a chance to make a difference in people’s lives is important to you, we are eager to hear from you.
As the Lifestyle Manager for V!VA Retirement Communities, you will mentor and manage both Team Members and volunteers. You will reach out to prospective Community Members, their families and local referral sources to coordinate the arrival of new Community Members, and provide guidance and services to meet their daily social and transportation needs. Reporting to the Community Director, you will manage all aspects of the department and collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure V!VA delivers the best overall care for its Community Members. You will continually improve the customer service experience and develop an innovative working environment for Team Members.
