TheAssistant Coach is expected to actively contribute to the creation of apositive, inclusive, and performance-driven team culture. In addition, the roleinvolves administrative oversight, community engagement, and collaboration withthe Athletic Department to ensure program success at the provincial andnational level. This position requires a strongcommitment to student-athlete development, compliance with Ontario Tech andgoverning body regulations, and a proactive approach to building a reputableand sustainable varsity sport program.
The Assistant Coach, Varsity Women’sBasketball, plays a pivotal role in supporting the success and ongoingdevelopment of Ontario Tech University's Women's basketball program. Reporting tothe Head Coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for contributing to theathletic and personal growth of student-athletes, maintaining a competitiveteam environment, and upholding the values and mission of the University.
