Qualifications

As part of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Box Office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your exceptional leadership and organizational skills will help guide our talented Box Office Cashiers, ensuring that every customer interaction is a fantastic one!

The live sports and entertainment industry is unique and exciting, especially in Saskatchewan. SaskTel Centre continues to be a leader in large-scale entertainment through live sports, concerts, and other community events.

What You'll Do:
  1. Lead and Inspire: Prepare schedules, conduct interviews, manage performance, and train employees on essential systems, processes, and procedures.
  2. Champion Compliance: Ensure all Box Office and Ticketing operations adhere closely to company policies, maintaining excellence in service and operations.
  3. Develop Training Materials: Create, revise, and facilitate engaging training sessions focused on systems, procedures, and stellar customer service practices.
  4. Show Builds: Create, modify, and review event manifests, working closely with external promoters and clients to ensure seamless show details.
  5. Analyze Data: Prepare and review detailed ticketing system reports for settlement and track documentation requirements for each event.
  6. Ensure Accuracy: Enter event-related information promptly for announcements and distribution to keep audiences informed and excited!
  7. Customer Service Expert: Handle ticket orders, address client inquiries, and resolve unique public complaints with professionalism and grace.
  8. Proficient with technology: The ideal candidate must have a strong aptitude for technology and be comfortable working with various software applications. This includes the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems, troubleshoot issues, and leverage technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  9. What We're Looking For:
  • A minimum of Grade 12 with six years of progressive ticketing experience, or a recognized post-secondary business administration program with four years of relevant experience.
  • 1-4 years of management experience in a busy customer service environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build goodwill with clients, promote events, and deliver technical information effectively.

  • A flexible mindset, as our industry requires adaptability to a 24/7 schedule with evening and weekend shifts.

The Live Events Industry is often a 24/7 business. Evening and weekend hours of work are part of the Assistant Box Office Manager's schedule. This is a full-time position with some regularity to hours. Flexibility and openness to a varying schedule is essential for consideration.
