Job summary

Ingram Micro Canada in Mississauga is seeking a senior finance professional to own the revenue recognition cycle across hardware, software and services. You will review contracts, manage IFRS/GAAP compliance, partner with FP&A and drive process improvements in a fast‑paced, global tech environment.

The role requires a college degree in finance or business, 8+ years in finance, CPA preferred, and experience with SAP and OneStream.

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Finance and accounting.
• Combination of Big 4 and industry experience preferred; public company reporting experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue recognition across hardware, software, and services.
• Review customer contracts and revenue schedules; collaborate with FP&A on margin reporting.
• Facilitate and consolidate accounting processes; coordinate month-, quarter-, year-end close.

Let’s shape tomorrow - it’ll be a fun journey!This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga office where you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.Responsibilities:Full responsibility over the revenue recognition cycle across our hardware, software, and service offerings, including partnering with GTM teams to design proper rev rec processes on any new commercial model.Manage revenue accounting under ASC 606/IFRS 15, Review customer contracts and revenue schedules, partners with FP&A on margin reporting.Facilitate & consolidate the transition of accounting processes.Coordinating aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.Helping the Controller to prepare financial statements and management reports.Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.Analyze financial results and explain variances.Ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax, and internal SOX control requirements.Partnering with the Controller & Tax team to coordinate internal and external audits.Supervising accounting staff and driving process improvements, monitor and coach local and offshore support team.Supporting ERP and financial systems initiatives.Drive process improvements and finance automation (AI/Looker, Alteryx) initiatives.What you bring to the role:College degree in Finance, Business (or additional relevant experience in a related field).Minimum 8+ years of experience in Finance and accounting.Combination of Big 4 and industry experience, public company reporting experience is preferred.CPA preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience.ERP Experience: Well versed in systems implementations, experience in SAP and Onestream.Experience managing global accounting teams.Process focused, well versed in SOX and IFRS standards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Driven team player with a collaborative approach and a strong focus on results.This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
