Job summary

Skyservice is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M2 to perform maintenance in hangar and on ramp in Calgary, Alberta. You will ensure documentation is complete, install components per Transport Canada regulations, and adhere to safety policies.

Candidates must hold a valid TC AME M2 license, have at least five years of related experience, and be prepared for travel and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada AME M2 license.
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Experience with maintenance planning and ERP systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft in hangar and on ramp.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
• Install components per Transport Canada regulations and company procedures.
• Follow maintenance control manuals and regulatory standards.
• Attend training as directed by management.
• Uphold Safety Management System policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and ensure proper completion of all maintenance activities on aircraft, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
• Ensure that all components are installed on aircrafts in accordance with company and Transport Canada regulations;
• Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
• Attend training courses as directed by company management;
• Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• All other related duties as assigned by the Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Valid Transport Canada AME M2 license;
• Experience/type course on Gulfstream 650 is an asset, but highly desired;
• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience in aircraft maintenance;
• Strong maintenance planning skills and use of Quantum or equivalent ERP system an asset;
• Be a positive representation of Skyservice and strive to deliver;
• Due to the nature of the role travel and flexibility of workhours is mandatory;
• Must be attentive to detail;
• Positive attitude;
• Team oriented;
• Good communication skills.
