Job summary

LV Aero, LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Technician in Dorval, QC. The role involves maintaining commercial aircraft in hangar and ramp operations, ensuring documentation, and certifying components according to Transport Canada standards.

Applicants must hold a TC M2 license with a minimum of five years of experience; business jet experience is an asset. Training, relocation assistance, and benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive package.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Safety Management System policy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform and ensure proper completion of all maintenance activities related to commercial aircraft, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
  • Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are properly certified;
  • Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management;
  • Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy;
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
  • All other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Valid Transport Canada M2 license;
  • Minimum of five (5) years previous experience;
  • Experience on Business Aircraft is an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Must be attentive to detail;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Team oriented;
  • Good communication skills.
EDUCATION:
  • Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Technician program or equivalent.
