Job summary

The Asset Protection Associate at Walmart Granby is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure store environment for customers, associates, visitors, and vendors. By following Asset Protection standards, this role helps prevent loss, reduce shrink, and support store profitability.

You will patrol the store daily, conduct investigations, support emergency procedures, and communicate findings to leadership. The position may involve external apprehensions when required and reporting to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily patrols to ensure a safe, secure store environment and verifies doors, showcases and security features are functioning properly.
• Investigates incidents of shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership; escalates per policy in internal investigations.
• Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents and participates in store task team responsibilities.
• Carries out external apprehensions when required in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources to leadership and stakeholders; reports issues with clear perspectives.
