Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Tsawwassen, BC is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to help maintain a safe store environment, protect guests and merchandise, and support store profitability. You will follow Asset Protection standards and work closely with leadership.

The role includes store security patrols, investigations, emergency response, reporting, and external apprehensions when needed. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Age – 16 or older
• License – Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Store Security and Loss Prevention – Conducts daily patrols of the store to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigations and Case Support – Investigates incidents of financial and physical shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership.
• Emergency Response and Store Support – Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents such as fire or other emergencies.
• Enforcement and External Apprehensions – Carries out external apprehensions when required, in compliance with Company policies and legal standards.
• Communication and Reporting – Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources, clearly explaining issues and findings to leadership and other stakeholders while presenting relevant perspectives.
