Responsibilities

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Processes direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise, and alcohol and receiving of warehouse trailers.
• Keeps a neat, clean and organized work area in receiving, claims, and offices.
• Follows cold chain guidelines to ensure quality assurance and documents information on the Receiving Temperature Log / Spark App.
• Assists in shrink prevention by scanning damaged and stolen merchandise promptly.
• Manages returns, vendor return requests, recalls, paperwork, packing and shipping, and meets deadlines per company guidelines; handles SORT and Global Donation Merchandise.
• Monitors returns through claims and protects assets by proper processing to minimize chargebacks; records returns and shrink wins.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company policies and processes for damaged/recalled merchandise and ensures new store programs are implemented.
• Ensures invoicing key controls are followed and payments for merchandise and services are made timely.
• Reviews exception reports MU/MD, scans exceptions, price overrides, and 2-cent reports.
