lululemon in Vancouver, BC is seeking an Asset Protection Manager – Organized Retail Crime to lead ORC investigations and design strategies to reduce theft across North America – West. The role requires 5+ years in ORC investigations and strong communication and case-building skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary corporate contact and build relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and prosecuting attorneys to direct investigations and present cases for prosecution.
• Design ORC strategies and lead the team's execution to reduce unwanted criminal activity and identify trends across North America – West.
• Establish guidance on company-approved surveillance tactics to validate ORC investigations.
• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and tools to improve detection, prevention, and disruption of ORC activity.
• Provide testimony in criminal proceedings on behalf of the company.
• Collaborate with Asset Protection Senior Manager and Retail partners to address urgent business requests and trends.
• Manage, develop, and elevate the skills of field-based ORC investigators and specialists.
• Collaborate with internal partners, law enforcement, and industry peers to develop intelligence and lead complex investigations targeting prolific ORC offenders.
• Manage budgetary spend for the ORC team, including contract workers, expenses, and hardware.

• The candidate will act as the primary corporate contact and build positive relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and prosecuting attorney’s offices to direct investigations and present cases for prosecution.
• The candidate will design ORC strategies and be responsible for the team’s execution of those strategies to reduce unwanted criminal activity while identifying trends and patterns within North America – West to cultivate investigation leads.
• The candidate will establish guidance on company approved surveillance tactics to validate organized retail crime investigations involving individuals, groups and establishments of interest.
• The candidate will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and implementing emerging technologies and innovative investigative tools to improve the detection, prevention, and disruption of Organized Retail Crime (ORC) activity.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must have at least five years of experience in organized retail crime investigations.
• The candidate with a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to tell their story, both written and verbally, to powerfully teach others the skills needed to support our ORC strategy and AP vision.
• The candidate must have strong documentation and case building skills.
• The candidate must have certified or demonstrated ability in addressing retail theft at strategic level, conducting complex external investigations with history of success, and a basic working knowledge of physical security and protection strategy.
• The candidate must have the ability to identify, document, and create data/powerful metrics involving all external theft patterns and trends amongst the assigned area.
• The candidate must have the ability to propose new tactics to mitigate theft and get the buy-in from the appropriate business partners.
