Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Asset Protection Operations Team Associate in Calgary, AB to help maintain store financial integrity, pricing accuracy and inventory control. The role coordinates direct and local merchandise flows to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will secure high-ticket items, process shipments (including OMNI and alcohol), maintain orderly receiving areas, and follow cold chain and invoicing controls. Experience with shrink prevention and returns is valued.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Secures high-ticket merchandise in designated locations.
• Processes direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol.
• Keeps receiving, claims, and offices neat, clean and organized.
• Follows cold chain guidelines and documents information on Receiving Temperature Log / Spark App.
• Assists shrink prevention by scanning damaged or stolen merchandise promptly.
• Maintains up-to-date returns, RA requests, recalls, paperwork, packing and shipping per guidelines.
• Monitors returns and shrink to minimize chargebacks; records shrink wins.
• Keeps current with company policies and new store programs for handling damaged/recalls merch.
