SPECTRAFORCE in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an Advisor, Asset Management Governance, to support the Asset Management Program within the Integrated Management System for Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS).

The role focuses on governance activities, reporting, and managing interdependencies across concurrent GDS initiatives, helping mature asset management and drive continuous improvement across asset classes.

Qualifications

  • Related university degree with five or more years of relevant experience, or six or more years in field operations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience with Document management.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft tools - Microsoft Office(suite).
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and support alignment across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work.
  • Experience integrating planning inputs into clear, consolidated views for senior management decisions.
  • Experience supporting changes to organizational processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Gas Distribution & Storage Asset Management Assurance Plan and corrective actions.
  • Support development, implementation, and sustainment of GDS assurance tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide status or progress reporting to working teams and senior management including Quarterly Management Reviews.
  • Draft processes, procedures and job aids to support continual improvement of Asset Management Governance.
  • Maintain Asset Management SharePoint Site, including site permissions.
  • Engage stakeholders to prioritize and facilitate solutions related to asset management and planning.
  • Support planning, facilitation and completion of BU/EAM maturity assessments and/or other Enterprise led assurance activities.
  • Support AM Metrics development, implementation, monitoring and measurement.
  • Assist onboarding of new SMEs in the AM ecosystem.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on technical matters; develop change management and communication plans.
  • Designated MOC coordinator for Asset Management Program; IMS and Records administration.

Job Description:

In this role you will support the ongoing reporting, documentation, and maintenance of the Asset Management Program within the Integrated Management System for Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS).

Reporting to the Supervisor, Asset Management Governance, the Advisor, Asset Management Governance supports the GDS Asset Management Program by coordinating governance activities, reporting, and managing interdependencies across concurrent GDS initiatives. This role helps advance asset management maturity, supports implementation and continuous improvement of the program and related processes, and assists with work across all asset classes.

Responsible for supporting the Supervisor, Asset Management Governance with the following:

  • Develop, coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Gas Distribution & Storage Asset
  • Management Assurance Plan and associated corrective and preventative actions.
  • Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of GDS assurance tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide and deliver status or progress reporting to working teams and senior management including Quarterly Management Reviews.
  • Draft processes, procedures and job aids to support the continual improvement of Asset Management Governance.
  • Support the maintenance, updating and continual improvement of the Asset Management SharePoint Site, including site permissions.
  • Engage and maintain stakeholder relationships to prioritize and facilitate solutions related to asset management and planning. This includes working with the extended Asset Management & Governance team to deliver key messages and polished communications material.
  • Support planning, facilitation and completion of BU/EAM maturity assessments and/or other Enterprise led assurance activities
  • Support AM Metrics development, implementation, monitoring and measurement
  • Support the onboarding and support of new SMEs in the AM ecosystem.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on technical and complex matters related to policy, procedures and practice. Develop, execute and maintain fit- for -purpose change management and communication plans.
  • Designated Management of Change (MOC) coordinator for Asset Management Program
  • IMS and Records administration for Asset Management.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree with five or more years of relevant experience, or six or more years of field operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience with Document management. Strong experience with Microsoft tools - Microsoft Office(suite).
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and support alignment across teams through flexible, practical, and results-oriented leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work.
  • Experience integrating planning inputs from multiple sources into clear, consolidated views that support team alignment, stakeholder communication and support senior management decision-making.
  • Experience supporting changes to organizational processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and utility financial management practices is an asset.

Preferred (An Asset):

  • Energy industry experience in asset management, project management, engineering or business development
  • Understanding of EGI /Utility core business functions and Operations and regulatory understanding.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of change management approaches and experience with change initiatives.
  • Experience in working with Senior Management and Executive Audiences
