Foothills County encompasses a diverse rural landscape covering approximately 3,600 square kilometres located in the foothills of southern Alberta. We are currently seeking an Assessment Technician to join our team. If you are looking for a rewarding career that offers a work life balance, this could be the opportunity for you.

This position provides clerical and technical functions for the Assessment Department. The technician supports the Assessment Team with gathering and organizing data, in addition to entering information into the CAMA system. This position requires strong MS Office skills and a high degree of accuracy to support assessors applying legislated and professional standards and principles.

Qualifications/Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by post-secondary administrative training. Experience with real estate, construction, legal and/or land titles would be beneficial.
  • This position requires a minimum of five years office experience with strong skills in Microsoft Office and database programs.
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license.
