As part of the Student Experience portfolio, Accommodated Exams facilitates the delivery of examinations to registered students with disabilities at Western. Team members work with instructors, proctors and students to provide access to accommodations during timed assessments, working to support equity, inclusion, and full participation in the educational environment.
The Assessment Coordinator will work with the Accommodated Exams team to plan, manage and facilitate accommodated assessments, ensuring that all service standards are met for students in accordance with Western’s Senate requirements, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and the Ontario Human Rights Code. The Assessment Coordinator will actively participate in the development of policies and procedures related to the administration of Accommodated Exams and review existing policies and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and to enhance customer service. The role will provide training to the proctoring team to ensure the delivery of exemplary customer service to various stakeholders.
