Job summary

Master Flo Valve Inc. in Canada seeks an Assembly Technician to provide quality workmanship in the assembly testing and painting of wellhead components. The role reports to the ATP Supervisor and follows work orders and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with relevant experience in wellhead equipment and oilfield industry preferred.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, stamps and tests wellhead components in accordance with work order requirements.
• Ensure processes and testing operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
• Responsible to ensure assembly and testing meet work order requirements.
• Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking.
• Maintain workstation and equipment to an acceptable Stream-Flo standard of cleanliness.
• Follow work order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system.
• Report all machine, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Maintenance Department and/or lead hand/supervisor of a down time situation.
• Perform other duties assigned by Lead Hand / Supervisor.

Key position functions include:

• Assembles, stamps and tests wellhead components in accordance with work order requirements.
