Job summary

RTDS Technologies Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to participate in the assembly of RTDS cubicles, enclosures and housings in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The role requires hands-on electrical component assembly capabilities and a collaborative team approach to meet high-quality standards. Under supervision, you will set up RTDS main and I/O boards, address assembly issues, and contribute to the production of new cubicles and housings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field.
• Hands on work with electrical components and board testing.
• Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Experience with soldering, testing, maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic hardware.
• Experience with circuit boards.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Production Manager, assemble RTDS cubicles, enclosures and other housings.
• Advise Production Manager of assembly problems, including but not limited to Poor quality or improper components; Assemblies that are difficult to complete; Unsafe wiring arrangements.
• Participate in cubicle, enclosure or housing related support issues.
• Be familiar with the setup and installation of RTDS main and I/O boards.
• Participate in the production aspects of new product cubicles, enclosures and housings.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

RTDS Technologies Inc. are seeking to fill an Assembly Technician position who will participate in the assembly of the RTDS digital real-time power system simulator. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical component assembly, the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team, and a commitment to meeting our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Production Manager, assemble RTDS cubicles, enclosures and other housings.

• C.E.T Certification, or equivalent certification/experience (Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Engineering Technology)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
• Hands on work experience with electrical component assembly & board testing
• Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Experience with soldering, testing, maintenance, & repair of electrical/electronic hardware, peripherals and software
• Experience with circuit boards

Compensation

Currency: CAD

Salary Minimum: 55,000

Salary Maximum: 75,000
