## Assembly Support Co-opApplylocations: East Gwillimbury, Ontariotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR103188**Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in solving maintenance related problems with minimum interruption to production.* Perform all maintenance and repair work in either the plant or grounds as assigned.* Ensure all assembly quality specifications are met, by continuously monitoring the assembly processes on the equipment assigned.* Troubleshoot all aspects of the assembly process as required.* Assist in maintaining up to date documentation of all equipment. This includes documenting all of the changes to the equipment in MVP.* Actively participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program, and down time reduction process. This includes following the PMP schedule and completing the PMP checklists.* Participate in the development and implementation of the latest technologies to improve productivity and/or quality.* Make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs. This includes manufacturing, repairs and installations of parts, components, services and equipment.* Maintain clean and safe working conditions.* Actively participate in the preparation of safety and operation procedures.* Provide support to the Welding Support Department, Facilities Department and Press/Toolroom as required.**Basic Requirements:*** Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in a related field.* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and tools is an asset.* Experience with mechanical systems is an asset.* Basic knowledge of electrical systems.* Basic knowledge of welding process (GMAW).* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Good problem solving techniques.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
