Job summary

Excelitas Technologies in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, is seeking an Assembler for our Operations team on a Regular Full Time basis. You will participate in documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection across production phases.

Responsibilities include cleaning and preparation of parts, mounting with epoxy and solder, assembling sub-assemblies, hand marking devices, testing components, fiber optic attachment, and using SAP for transactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills are essential.
• Some experience with data entry is an asset.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

• Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder.
• Hand marking of devices.
• Test components and assemblies once finished.

• Fibre optic attachment.
• May use SAP system to process transactions.
• Assist Team Leader in training new employees.
• Performing other related duties as required.

The Assembler position consists of documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection. Each assembler may be required to work on any single phase of operations at a given time.

Your responsibilities:
