Job summary

ABB in Saint-Laurent, Québec, Canada is seeking an Assembly professional to interpret drawings and assemble high-power system structures. You will use cutting machines for metal profiles and assemble sub-assemblies for distribution and control panels.

Responsibilities include installing busbars in enclosures, moving large components with an overhead crane, and placing power components in electrical cabinets, while maintaining safety and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• DEP in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Cable Assembly, or Avionics (Nice to have).
• Mechanical and technical skills.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components.
• Ability working with tools in stepladder.
• Autonomy.
• Safety mindset.
• Good knowledge of French and English.
• 3 years of experience preferred.
