Randstad Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Concord, ON. This full-time contract with potential for extension offers a steady day-shift schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include assembling products with hand and power tools, reading blueprints, inspecting parts for defects, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and helping with inventory and data recording to support on-time production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Assembly.
• Experience using hand tools or power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures while strictly following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform basic machine operations and necessary adjustments to ensure the assembly process runs efficiently.
• Inspect parts and finished products for defects to ensure total quality compliance, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to all established health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including the accurate counting of components required for assembly.
• Track and document production data, such as units completed and time spent, ensuring all paperwork is precise and up to date.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to consistently meet production targets and project deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
