Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an assembler to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Canada. You will assemble sub-assemblies and structural airframe components from the provided plans, adapting to fuselage assembly, cockpits and various components, using manual or automated equipment as required.

The role requires a DEP in structural assembly or at least 5 years of relevant assembly experience in aeronautics, and the ability to read French.

Qualifications

• DEP in structural assembly or 5 years of experience as an assembler in the aeronautics field or a related field in assembly
• Proficient in reading French

Responsibilities

• Carry out, from an assembly book, the assembly of sub-assemblies and structural assemblies of airframes and aircraft systems
• Adapt your work to various types of assembly: fuselage assembly, aircraft cockpit and different types of components
• Use manual or automated machines and tools depending on the work to be done
• Ensure, by various means of control, the conformity of the assemblies in relation to the assembly specifications.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition
