Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. is seeking an Assembly technician for its PFC Flexible Circuits division to build flexible circuits using small tools and a microscope. You will solder components, inspect boards, and ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.

The role supports the afternoon shift (3:30pm - 12:00am) with a $0.75 per hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma desired.
• Must be able to use small hand tools and microscope while handling parts regularly.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with diagrams/product schematics desired.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Solder components with a soldering iron and apply epoxy using dispensing equipment.
• Visually inspect work in process for defects and adjust as required.
• Perform self-inspection and inspect others' assemblies.
• Uphold company's values and ethics, and report quality problems to prevent recurrence.
• Duties may be modified to meet business needs.

PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking an Assembler who will be responsible for using small tools and microscopes to put together flexible circuits and solder parts. This individual will inspect and ensure that every board is properly assembled according to drawing specifications.

This individual will support afternoon shift operations (3:30pm - 12:00am).

***This position offers a $0.75 per hour shift differential for second shift hours of operation (3:30pm - 12:00am).***

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities in areas of hand assembly which include: Using a soldering iron to solder components together; Applying epoxy and coatings using dispensing equipment; Visually check work in process for defects and make adjustments as required.
• Conduct self-inspection and inspect assemblies completed by others.

• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Pay may range from $18.00 to $18.00 hourly
