PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is hiring an Assembler to assemble flexible circuits and solder parts. The role requires using a soldering iron, small hand tools, and a microscope, with a focus on quality and adherence to drawings.

The position supports afternoon shift operations (3:30pm - 12:00am) and offers a $0.75 per hour shift differential for second shift hours. Prior experience with diagrams and electronics is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to use small hand tools and microscope while handling parts regularly.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity and attention to detail required.
• Familiarity with diagrams/product schematics desired.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.

PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking an Assembler who will be responsible for using small tools and microscopes to put together flexible circuits and solder parts. This individual will inspect and ensure that every board is properly assembled according to drawing specifications.

This individual will support afternoon shift operations (3:30pm - 12:00am).

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities in areas of hand assembly which include: Using a soldering iron to solder components together; Applying epoxy and coatings using dispensing equipment; Visually check work in process for defects and make adjustments as required.
• Conduct self-inspection and inspect assemblies completed by others.

• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

• Must be able to use small hand tools (e.g. tweezers, solder wick, precision cutters, etc.) and microscope while handling parts regularly.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with diagrams/product schematics desired.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the business language (English).

Pay may range from $17.95 to $17.95 hourly
