Each day, you will work in a clean, organized, and structured environment, following established work instructions to ensure product quality while meeting production objectives.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the production team in Whitby, Ontario, Canada.You will be mainly accountable for:Assemble precision components such as wires, sensors, connectors, housings, and other small parts according to established work instructions;Perform a variety of manual assembly operations requiring precision and strong manual dexterity;Identify and resolve circuit board issues to ensure product quality and functionality.Perform circuit board soldering and rework in accordance with quality and safety standards;Conduct visual inspections to ensure the quality and conformity of assembled parts.Identify and report defects, non-conforming components, or quality concerns to the supervisor;Follow manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and production schedules;Maintain a consistent work pace while ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality;Collaborate with team members to support the smooth execution of production activities.You will join a collaborative and quality-focused team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the manufacturing of innovative products and support operational excellence.Qualifications for the RoleA 3-year technology college diploma in electronics or a related field;Experience in electronic, mechanical, or optical assembly within a production environment is considered an asset;Experience performing precision manual work requiring attention to detail;Strong manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail;Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent productivity and quality;Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing or production environment;Familiarity with quality control and inspection practices;Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documentation;Experience working with small, delicate, or precision components.More About UsABB is a leading global technology company that energizes the transformation of society and industry to create a more productive, sustainable future.
