Job summary

Vidir Solutions Inc. in Arborg, Manitoba is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our production team and help elevate our manufacturing capabilities.

You will assemble Vidir products according to engineered drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborate across shifts to meet the production schedule. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Mechanical Assembler

The Assembler is responsible to assemble a variety of Vidir products within a team environment according to the Production schedule.

• Assemble Vidir products according to engineered drawings safely and efficiently to provide the customer with a quality product on time.
• Use hand powered tools to perform basic assembly operations.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement to Team Lead to provide safer operations, higher quality, lower cost, and reduction of waste
• Coordinate work with other team members and teams to provide a steady flow of product.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir’s Risk Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs and lead by example.
