You will operate rollers, monitor patterns, ensure density, and adhere to safety policies while working outdoors in varying weather. Reliable, detail-oriented candidates with a valid Class 5 license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating asphalt rollers is required.
• Strong understanding of rolling patterns and compaction techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced paving crew.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Safety-focused and reliable.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt rollers safely and efficiently.
• Compact asphalt to meet density and quality specifications.
• Work closely with the paving crew and foreman.
• Monitor mat temperature, rolling patterns, and surface finish.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with paving activities as required.
