Qualifications

Your Contribution

As an Asphalt Laboratory Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Materials team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Asphalt laboratory testing to match current DTI requirements – Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in both a central lab and mobile lab environment;
  • Familiar with current DTI End-Result-Specification Asphalt specifications and familiarity with asphalt mix properties to propose mix changes or adjustments as needed;
  • Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding;
  • Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.

Your Profile

  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety;
  • Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
  • CCIL certification considered an asset;
  • Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Willingness and ability to travel on a required basis.
