Job summary

PILLAR5 PHARMA in Ontario is seeking a production associate for sterile fill/pack operations. You will gown, set up and operate bottle filling machines, and perform routine maintenance to ensure quality and efficiency.

Documentation of materials and products, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with teammates are essential. The role requires flexibility for days, evenings, and weekend shifts and stands up to 10 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or production environment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
• Proven ability to complete accurate documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Post Graduate science degree or diploma.
• Capable of working all shifts, days, evening and weekend.
• Meeting the physical demands of this position, i.e. Standing up to 10-hours per shift.
• Previous experience with SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile gowning to allow for working in the aseptic cleanrooms.
• Set up and operate bottle filling machines in a slow and deliberate manner, including the ability to set up outside filling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

SCHEDULE:

• Days/Evenings (10 Hour Shifts) Weekly Rotating Shifts: Monday – Thursday
• Days rotational shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm
• Evening rotational shift: 4:00pm - 2:30am
• Weekend shift: Friday to Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm

COMPENSATION

• The starting rate for this position is $21.98/hr, with set increases based on tenure.
• Full-time, permanent employees receive full health benefits starting on Day One.
